Connor McDavid Wins Halloween
Halloween is 10 days away and we already have our winner for the best costume. Connor McDavid hit the Oilers Halloween party this weekend dressed as Homer Simpson. McDavid’s girlfriend, Lauren Kyle, who dressed up as Marge Simpson, posted a picture of the two to her Instagram story on Sunday night.
I’ll tell ya. Some guys just have it all. Not only is McDavid insanely good at hockey, but he also can think of a good Halloween costume. I think I speak for everyone when I say finding a creative halloween costume idea is a pain in the ass. Every year I just want to be the same thing I was from the year before…just throwing on a hockey jersey or something ridiculous like that.
McDavid is a stud, both on and off the ice. We talk about it on this week’s Spittin’ Chiclets, about how the NHL just seems so much more fun this year. The superstars are all putting themselves out there in a light that we haven’t seen ever. They are taking to social media and letting fans see into their lives more than ever.
There were a ton more good costumes from the Oilers Halloween party, but I figured it would be most important to point out the fact McDavid was Homer Simpson. Not only because the costume is unbelievable and probably is the best I have seen so far, but because we haven’t heard from RA in a few hours.
